Jasraj Singh Longia, better known as Jassi Jasraj was born on 18 April 1973 in the village Desu Majra (Maternal House) located in Distt. Ropar, Punjab. He is well known as a singer, lyricist and a revolutionary artist among Punjabis in India and abroad. Jassi Jasraj graduated from the Punjabi University, Patiala and then started out his professional career as a singer and a lyrics writer. He is also a member of the Film Writers Association, Mumbai since 1999.
